Pink Wednesday: OPI - DS Reflection

/hihi
Pink Wednesday

Hello beautifuls,

For today i have a beautiful polish...I'm a little disappointed that i didn't get pictures of how beautiful this really is in person. But this shade has lots of blue, silver and pink sparkles, it also has a slight holo effect. I applied two coats but it was completely opaque in 1 coat.  It is just a beautiful pink! :) extremely eye catching and im in love with it! I also did a very bad job with the stamping...haha

China Glaze - Drawn to you

/hihi

Hello beautiful ladies!

For today i have a nail polish from the Magnetix Collection from China Glaze. I wish all these brands could have gotten a little more creative with the name, they are all "magnetix". I'm going to start by saying that the China Glaze magnet was so much easier to work with than the others i have tried. yay! I didn't have to re-do any nails, and with my shaky hands that says a lot. I love this polish. It has pink and red-ish sparkles near the design once you apply the magnet. I applied two coats and i have to say that im very happy with my purchase :) Oh and much cheaper than all the other ones i have swatched before.

Also I broke a nail this weekend can you tell which one? :( oh well, lives goes on. ;)

Guest Post: Feel Even More Gorgeous With a Gorgeous Manicure!

/hihi

Hello Beautiful readers!

I was contacted by Jackie Clark  from  Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance  a few weeks back. I have to say that I feel so honored to be sharing with you guys this awesome post from Jackie. I encourage you to read on, share and enjoy. :)

Feel Even More Gorgeous With a Gorgeous Manicure!
By: Jackie Clark

As women, we are lucky to have many different options to play with to make us feel feminine, beautiful and sexy. From picking out girly and stylish outfits to playing with different styles and colors of makeup, there are lots of things that strong and powerful women can do to help us feel good
about ourselves. Even if you have been dealing with mesothelioma or another form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure or anything else, you have the right to feel like a gorgeous and strong woman! When fighting such a tough battle and dealing with treatment, an army of doctors and a scary prognosis, you are a tough woman, and you should feel on top of the world right now.

Manicuring and painting our nails is such an easy and delightfully fun process, that there is no excuse for us to
ignore it! When a woman has ragged or plain fingernails she often feels embarrassed to point at something or show her hands to others, but when painting your nails can be so much fun, what is the point?

There are many exciting and beautiful trends for nails right now. First you should choose what kind of look you would like to go for. The first step to pretty nails is to properly clean them. Make sure to clean beneath your nails and wash your hands thoroughly, and remove any existing nail polish. After your nails are completely dry - you never want to file wet nails, as it will make them more apt to rip and tear - get out
your nail file and shape your nails. Some women prefer a rounded shape, which is classic and pretty, but another trendy look is to file them into a slightly square shape.

After your nails are clean and shaped, as you want them, the fun begins! There are thousands of nail polish shades available on the market, if not more! Bright colors such as hot pinks and reds, or even blues or yellows are incredibly stylish and will catch a lot of attention! If you aren't a fan of brightly colored nail polish, you could always paint your nails a dramatic black or other dark shade, or even plain white.
Traditional colors, such as light pinks are always pretty and girly. There are even decals and crystals available on the market that can easily be applied by yourself or with the help of a friend, and several companies offer a special kind of polish that creates a "crackled" look when painted over your favorite shade of nail polish. Nail polish and other nail accessories are usually quite affordable, which gives you
even more of a chance to play around and experiment to find out what looks you really love!

You will be surprised by just how proud you will be of your new manicure, and of just how beautiful and proud your pretty new hands will make you feel. Even if you are dealing with mesothelioma or another form of cancer, you are a strong woman who should feel beautiful and proud of yourself for fighting such a powerful demon.

Pink Wednesday: Jesse's Girl

/hihi

Pink Wednesday

Hello Beautifuls!!!

I'm very excited today during my trip to Rite Aid i found this brand I have never tried before called Jesse's Girl. I absolutely love how it applies, there are no brush strokes. I'm really happy with it. I didnt have anything like it in my collection. It is a bright coral pink and two coats could have been enough but i did 3. I think I will  be going back for more, they are not bad.

Pretty Woman - Magnetix Green

/hihi

Hello Ladies!

I was very surprised when i went to my local Rite Aid this weekend and found this polish. There are several shades not sure how many, the display i found had about 5 different colors; blue, silver, magenta, green and brown? not sure if there is more. I paid $7.99 for the one i bought. I have to say that it is a little pricey considering that it is not a OPI or China Glaze, but still not outrageous like the Layla ones.

Pros:

  1. Beautiful Color - this green one really surprised me. I wasn't expecting it to be so dramatic.
  2. The box comes with 2 different magnets  / La caja contiene 2 imanes diferentes.
  3. Magnets are not hard to work with. Which it's great since I struggled with my Layla one =( / Los imanes no son dificiles para maniobrar. =(
Cons:
  1. The black magnet seemed to be a little less powerful than the red one.
Not necessarily bad, but the nail polish bottle shape is kind of weird. Not sure yet if is bad or not.

I took different pictures in different lightning, no matter how bad my light was this was so pretty! Do you see the depth on this polish? It really surprised me for a no name polish.

This is how is packaged :)
